Saint Louis Teacher Residency
About
St. Louis Teacher Residency recruits, trains, and supports aspiring teachers who are capable of accelerating student achievement from the moment they enter the classroom. Through our apprenticeship model, STLTR works to eliminate educational inequity by training effective teachers for the local, St. Louis community.

The St. Louis Teacher Residency’s gradual release format has allowed me to take on more and more responsibility as the year has progressed while still learning from my mentor teacher. With frequent and personalized feedback from my coach, I significantly increased my confidence and skill level in the classroom.
