Minority Educator Recruitment and Retention Scholarship

This scholarship is for $5,000 per year for up to four years. To be eligible, candidates must be current undergraduate or postgraduate students of minority backgrounds pursuing initial teacher certification at the University of Kentucky. Students must be admitted to the University of Kentucky. Students who receive the scholarship must teach in an approved Kentucky school for one year for each semester the scholarship is received.
