Beginning Teacher Scholarship - Texas Retired Teacher Foundation

An applicant must:

1. have taken or be scheduled to take the Texas teacher certification exam in 2018 in preparation to begin teaching in the fall of 2019 or spring of 2020.
2. be a relative of an active member of the Texas Retired Teachers Association (TRTA).
3. have earned an undergraduate or master’s degree in education and a teacher’s certification by August 31, 2018.
4. submit his or her application and college transcripts by 5:00 p.m. on March 15, 2018.
